Returns of healthcare hedge funds vary greatly. Manager selection is therefore critical. To produce consistent positive returns, one must identify managers with superior resources and allocate capital to them appropriately.
We seek to meet and evaluate every credible healthcare hedge fund manager, and perform considerable due diligence and thorough analysis of those which we identify as investment candidates.
We generally monitor current investments weekly, and review sub-sector exposures and top long and short positions monthly.
We perform extensive statistical analysis to assess manager alpha, risk and correlation to other managers and indexes.
Each manager is subjected to ongoing reassessment against our investment criteria.
